My wife joins me on this RELOAD blog post - her words are in Pink, mine are in Blue.

Something I saw in the Holy Ghost yesterday, we are in a time of "life-altering decisions" being made. God spoke to me about 2 weeks ago and said "It's decision time in the Kingdom". Sadly I am watching people make wrong decisions but I am also seeing a remnant make the right decisions.

These decisions are followed by what people are calling "peace". The Holy Ghost moved across my spirit and revealed this to me:

John 14:27 (KJV) Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

There is a peace that this World can bring. Satan is the prince of this World, he is the Prince of the Power of the Air (Ephesians 2:2), he roams about the Earth (Job 1:7, 1 Peter 5:8) thus the Peace of the World comes from the prince of this world…Satan.

It’s a part of his deception, it feels right, it looks right so I have peace…it sounds enough like God to cause one to bite the forbidden fruit.

Deception is demonic revelation…it’s revelation surrounded by questions rather than answers…it’s the spawn of Hell and it brings a peace…but it’s a false peace…inspired by Satan masquerading as an angel of light.

God’s peace will not leave your heart troubled nor will you be afraid…it will ALWAYS calm the storm you are IN...more on that in a bit.

The peace of the World will ALWAYS leave you with a troubled heart and a lingering fear…but it’s surrounded by so much deception that you will grasp it, call it God, even say you HEARD God's voice and run right out of God’s will and into the clutches of the enemy…having NEVER reached your God potential.

The peace of this World comes FROM Satan but operates THROUGH Flesh, I asked my wife Beth to share with you what she was sharing with me yesterday evening.

I was having a conversation with my husband, and we were discussing peace, peace from God and the false “sense of peace” that the enemy can give, and I had a revelation…there is also a “sense of peace” that the flesh provides.

There is a “sense of peace” that can come from the natural, from our flesh so to speak, (influenced of course by Satan).

Let me expound a little…

The peace of God is what happens when we are in a storm, that place of turmoil or unknown…

The peace of God is when you stand beside the casket of your child and your heart is broken but there is a sweet gentle peace and strength underneath it all that you can’t explain but that NO ONE can take away.

The peace of God is when you are in the middle of a financial struggle and you give your tithes and offering and you KNOW that there won’t be enough for the bills and groceries and yet as you place that envelope in the offering pan there is a peace that sweeps over you.

The peace of God is when He says NO and you feel the hurt and you are raw and ravaged inside but somewhere down deep there is a tiny spot of peace, because even though you don’t understand you know He is there.

  • The peace when you get the cancer diagnosis.
  • The peace when the car breaks down.
  • The peace when the bank account is empty and so is the pantry.

That is the peace of God

The peace of God comes mostly in times when everything in our life is chaotic and it makes absolutely no sense for there to be any peace at all.

That is why it is “peace, NOT as the world gives” John 14:27.

However, when your flesh is getting what it wants, you will feel peace…but DO NOT mistake it for the peace of God.

YOUR FLESH IS SATISFIED - that’s what you are calling peace.

There is no need for the peace of God because you are happy and content with whatever place you are in because it is WHERE YOU WANT TO BE.

This is the “sense of peace” that comes from the flesh.

You don’t need an umbrella when it isn’t raining.

You don’t need the peace of God when you aren’t in a storm or trial.

And when you REMOVE YOURSELF from the storm or trial your flesh says “oh, this feels good, this is PEACEFUL” it must be the right choice…especially when you can prop it up with a little bit of scripture (NOT gonna chase that rabbit)!

Most of the time (I said MOST) the will of God and plan of God goes AGAINST what our FLESH wants and desires…this is WHY He gives us HIS PEACE…to help us stay on that path.

So be sure that peace you feel isn’t just the false peace of the flesh (or the peace of Satan) because you stepped out of the battle or left God’s path.

Jesus felt peaceful about going to the cross…this is the peace of God...but He still had to submit and align HIS flesh to the WILL of the Spirit.

He knew that the "prince of this world" was coming for Him.

John 14:30 (KJV) Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me.

...and hath "nothing in me"...which is why he could agonize in a Garden, pray "not my will but thine" and walk out in PEACE with his flesh FULLY submitted and aligned with the spirit.

So what peace are you walking in today?

Are you lying to yourself? Calling it the "Peace of God" when in reality it's just...Peace as this World giveth.

If so, that's a dangerous place to be. I'd rather stay in the storm and experience the peace of God than succumbing to the Evil one and allowing him a place to destroy me with false peace and forbidden fruit...or allowing my flesh to exit into "fantasy land" and call it the peace of God.

I recently read a quote on Facebook that said "It's hard to hear God's voice when you've already determined what He will say", so true...when our flesh begins to speak for God...that is not God's peace...it's peace as the World giveth.

Be careful in this time to make decisions prayerfully, carefully and with MUCH guidance from your Pastor(s) lest you be deceived and devastate your life.
